Coppelia

Last week, I helped out at a DJ Fundraiser for Roc Raida’s family.
Afterwords, Ream and I were introduced to this fantastic 24/7 Cuban diner on 14th St.
I’ll be posting about the event itself another time but let’s just say ever since, our lives have changed and we can’t stop coming back for more.
Here are two of our favorite dishes from Coppelia:

ALITAS 100 FUEGOS –

Chipotle-chocolate glazed chicken wings paired with Jicama and Blue Cheese.

LOMO SALTADO –

Rice platter of Peruvian stir fry beef short ribs with red onions, tomato, fries, soy ginger, and sambas

Other things I’d recommend are the Blue Cornmeal Pancakes with Agave Syrup and the Oxtail Empanadas.
If you’re ever in NYC, this is a spot off the beaten path you don’t want to bypass.
