Tapped into my childhood upbringings in predominantly Hispanic neighborhoods, with Dominican godparents, and channeled the inner chef once again.
Para cenar hoy: cocine Arroz con Pollo y Platanos Fritos, con Tapatio salsa picante y algunas frutas para refrescar laboca.
Translation: “For dinner tonight, I cooked chicken with rice and fried green plantains, with Tapatio hot sauce and some fruits to refresh the palate.”
Actually very proud of the turnout. I’ve made Arroz con Pollo before but never this style of Platanos, so it was very entertaining to try something new.
